Buy shares in a Simply Perfect Seychelles villa

Cerf Island , Seychelles.

Cape Town-based Simply Perfect is inviting South Africans to buy shares in a freehold beachfront property and four-bedroom private villa on Cerf Island, the second largest of six islands in the Sainte Anne Marine National Park, Seychelles.

Simply Perfect consists of a hands-on team of entrepreneurs, architects and project managers who create beautiful properties for those seeking the ultimate getaway experience in idyllic natural settings.

“Our vision is to seek out exquisite destinations and to develop them sensitively and sustainably, creating exceptional and enduring properties for shareholders to enjoy, that truly reflect our spirit,” say architects Jed Kritzinger and Julia Abell of Simply Perfect. “We design, develop and market our properties, and ensure they are professionally managed and maintained so that shareholders can enjoy them without the usual concerns of maintenance – a luxury in the modern world where time is precious.”

The say Cerf Island is the perfect getaway for families or small groups of friends, in one of the Indian Ocean’s renowned marine national parks.

The 750 m2 site is in a quiet bay with its own private beach overlooking the main island of Mahé, 3 km away. The property offers easy, year-round access by boat from the nearby port on Mahé and the adjacent harbour on Eden Island.

The villa was designed by Kritzinger and Abell, who both worked for renowned architect Norman Foster in London. The sustainable development will consist of a luxurious 180 m2 private villa with four bedrooms and two lofts, and a 60 m2 manager’s house set among the tropical vegetation.

A combination of timber, local stone and palm leaves will be used as the primary construction elements, allowing the villa to blend into its natural environment in an unobtrusive way, say the architects.

A large open-plan living area with retracting folding doors opens out onto two decks. A study is incorporated into each of the two master bedrooms, overlooking the bedroom, outdoor deck and Indian Ocean.

Sainte Anne Marine National Park is a wildlife protection zone and there are some excellent dive spots around the island, where more than 150 species of colourful fish, crabs, sea urchins, starfish, giant turtles and clown fish can be discovered.

The Seychelles offers direct non-stop flights to Mahé from Johannesburg, London, Paris, Rome, Zurich, Singapore and other major world cities. Air Seychelles provide local, internal flights from Mahé to other islands such as Praslin and Frégate. There is also good boat access from Mahé to all other islands in the Seychelles archipelago.

Simply Perfect is offering 10 shares for sale at R1,4 million each, and investors may buy more than one share. The price includes a power boat, a sailing boat and a house manager/boatman who will take care of shareholders’ needs. Levies are estimated at R24 000 a year.

Each share will entitle the shareholder to four weeks exclusive use of the property each year. The property will be managed and maintained by Simply Perfect, which will also manage future resales of shares for shareholders.
