It’s been 11 months since we completed marketing work on Calgro’s LaVieNouvelle retirement village, They have breached the agreement they signed, by initially not paying on time / changing their payment terms, Not fulfilling the proposed quotation/budget/aspects as agreed upon, ignoring requests for payment and producing/publishing intellectual property that they have not paid for.

Does anyone know what the law states regarding levies being collected from the astate of the deceased life right owner, if the developer takes a number of months to resell the life right? We have been told that the developer is entitled to debit the estate for the levies until the life right is resold. This seems incorrect as the life right owner’s contract with the developer end with his death. Any reference to current laws on the subject will be appreciated Thanks Johan du Plessis
