Four of the total six homes have been sold in Compton Estate, which is being developed by Devmark Property Group in Vierlanden, Durbanville

Devmark director Jean Ehlers, says: “It’s become increasingly difficult to find housing of this calibre in the northern suburbs of Cape Town. Both capital growth and rental yields are historically excellent in this area and we anticipate that it will improve over the long term.”

He says that construction has started and some of the units have been completed or are nearing completion.

“Building will be completed by August 2018,” says Ehlers.

Vierlanden is one of the oldest, most established areas in Durbanville. Ehlers says it has retained its rural character over the decades, with very little new development taking place. The area is close to private and public schools, hospitals, restaurants, shopping facilities and a large and well-maintained recreational park.

Stand sizes at Compton Estate start from 440m² and the units from 230m², surrounded by landscaped areas. The plot and plan package sells at R3.595 million including VAT and no transfer duty is payable. Options include three bedrooms and three bathrooms, as well as three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a selection of luxury finishes.

Compton Estate is marketed by Louw & Coetzee Properties.
