Construction starts at Chapel Towers development

The site has been cleared and construction has started at Asrin Property Developers’ Chapel Towers project in Zonnebloem.

The much-anticipated start to construction at the iconic Asrin Property Developers project, Chapel Towers, in Zonnebloem, has begun and completion of this 10 storey 90 unit building is expected by the end of 2019.

Take-up of units here has been quick, says Ali Mohammed, project manager for Asrin.

“Most of the units were sold before the start of any formal marketing campaign as there is strong demand for units at reasonable prices in this area.

“The Chapel Towers development creates a chance to live in a prestigious apartment block on the fringe of the city and be a couple of minutes from the centre of the CBD, with quick access to major highways, to the airport, southern and the northern suburbs,” says Mohammed.

There are still a few apartments for sale at Chapel Towers, at prices ranging from R1.85 million to R2.9m. Finishes and fittings include engineered stone kitchen countertops, SMEG appliances, porcelain floor tiles, Grohe (or similar) bathroom fittings and air-conditioning in the penthouse suites. Units will have views of Table Mountain, the city or the harbour.

Features include a lifestyle roof deck with a swimming pool, gym equipment, and outdoor entertainment and braai areas. One parking bay per unit has been allocated in the double basement and on the ground floor level.

“Sited just between the historical District Six area and the Foreshore, residents at Chapel Towers will be able to enjoy a culture-rich environment with a glut of restaurants, bistros, coffee shops and retail centres nearby as well as living a stone’s throw from one’s place of work,” says Mohammed.

“Whether you are a first time home buyer, a young professional, retired and looking to downscale or a buy-to-let investor, this development ticks all the boxes.”
