Construction starts at Chapel Towers in Cape Town’s East City Precinct

Pile drivers are on site at Chapel Towers, Asrin Property Developers new development in Cape Town’s East City Precinct.

Construction is on programme at Asrin Property Developers’ Chapel Towers development between the historical District Six area and the Foreshore in Cape Town.

Asrin’s construction director, Shiraz Onia, says construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.

“Most of the units were sold before the official launch, as there is strong demand for units in this area. It’s an ideal opportunity to live in the city, with easy access to all major highways and landmarks such as Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront, UCT, Cape Peninsula University of Technology and Cape Town International airport,” says Onia.

There are still a few apartments for sale, with prices ranging from R1.85 million to R2.9m. Finishes and fittings include engineered stone kitchen counter tops, SMEG appliances, porcelain tiles, and Grohe or similar bathroom fittings. Units will either have views of Table Mountain, the city or harbour.

Amenities will include a lifestyle roof deck with a swimming pool, a gym, and braai area.

The building will have full access control, a concierge and two levels of secure underground parking.

Residents at Chapel Towers will be able to enjoy a culture-rich environment with a glut of restaurants, bistros, coffee shops and retail centres nearby,” says Onia.

“This development is suited to many different buyers, whether you are a first time home buyer, a young professional, retired and looking to downscale or a buy-to-let investor, this development ticks all the right boxes,” said Onia.
