Construction is underway at Asrin Property Developers’ Coral Heights project at Melkbosstrand and handovers are scheduled for March 2011.
Only two per cent of Asrin Property Developers’ new Coral Heights development at Melkbosch Village, Melkbosstrand are still for sale, says Shiraaz Hassan, Asrin’s sales and marketing director.
The project consists of 55m² two-bedroom units, priced from R349 000 to R479 000, which includes transfer costs.
The ground floor units have private gardens and all units have designated parking bays.
Construction is now 70% complete and Asrin intend to schedule handovers for March next year.
Coral Heights is being followed up by the long awaited Camphor Close project, Asrin’s final phase in this village.
Camphor Close will consist of 39 single storey, freestanding and detached two and three bedroom homes on erven of approximately 200m², priced from R589 000.
“Final approval of this project is expected soon and, as we have had 40% of the units reserved before the launch, we are confident that the take-up here will be as fast as that at Coral Heights,” he says.
Hassan says Asrin was able to provide affordable homes in an area that was hitherto known only for its moderately expensive middle and upper category houses.
“The average house in Melkbosstrand costs R1,2million. Asrin has been able to deliver in the R350 000 to R650 000 bracket, with some units priced up to R1,2 million. What is more, it has done this without in any way impinging on the established areas or affecting their prices,” says Hassan.
