A new gated estate is set to be developed on Suikerbossie, overlooking the Hout Bay valley.

Nooitgedaght will consist of 20 designer homes ranging in size from 340m2 to 450m2 on erven sized from 915m2 to 1 400m2.

Rob Stefanutto, managing director of Dogon Group Properties, says each house is sold on a plot and plan basis and buyers can choose their and then add their preferred house design.

“There are three different designs to choose from, in three and four bedroom options that can be extended. Buyers can work with the design team to tailor their chosen house plan to their tastes and preferences – creating a bespoke premium property.”

He says the walled estate will have three boreholes for residents’ use and a verifier system for security. Each home will also include top security features, and the designs include an optional swimming pool and deck.

Prices start at R7.4 million, with no transfer duty payable as buyers will be purchasing directly from the developer.

Stefanutto says: “Hout Bay is far from the sleepy village it once was and continues to attract residents who are drawn to the location, with easy access to the CBD and its premium seaside location, top private schools and world class amenities.

“Following the success of the Avignon development in Hout Bay, Dogon Group believes this new premium gated communities is well overdue. Many buyers are looking for this type of property in this area and Nooitgedaght strikes a competitive balance between price and location.”
