Just three months after its launch, 104 on Creek – the new luxury resort-style apartment development at Steyn City in Johannesburg – has attracted much attention from buyers, according to Lambert Bezuidenhout, Steyn City sales manager.

“The success of 104 on Creek shows us that we are on the right track in perceiving the need for apartment living coupled with lifestyle offerings from access to world class facilities to freedom of movement and the space to roam,” he says.

The apartment complex stands on the banks of Steyn City’s very own creek, within walking distance of a large fishing dam.

Steyn City is Johannesburg’s new north’s own self-contained metropolis – a lifestyle resort and parkland with an onsite commercial park and a school taking classes from Grade 000 to Grade 12. This means residents spend less time spent in traffic and more time doing things that matter, with people who matter.

The 104 on Creek complex consists of two- and three-bedroom homes ranging in size from 96m² to 133m², with double-glazed windows, air conditioning and selected Siemens appliances. The development’s three-bedroom showhouse has been decorated by Weylandts.

Apartments are priced from R2,7 million, which includes undercover or basement parking.

The luxury complex has its own resort rim-flow pool and patisserie. The design ensures that each apartment overlooks the creek for which it is named, with a sweeping view of Johannesburg’s southern skyline further beyond the horizon.

Bezuidenhout says residents will also have access to the many amenities of Steyn City.

“Chief among these is the parkland’s cutting-edge security, a feature which ensures everyone living here is able to enjoy all other facilities with complete peace of mind. The parkland itself is a major drawcard: with 2 000 acres planted with thousands of indigenous trees.

“The parkland is the setting for activities to suit every interest. Apart from children’s play nodes, skate parks and the Dino Dig, there are outdoor gyms and yoga stations where parents can exercise while their kids spend time outdoors. There are also hundreds of kilometres of cycling and running track, a well-lit promenade for early morning jogs or evening strolls, and a gym at The Club.

“Dining options include XIX restaurant, as well as the more casual deli. Residents also have access to the new indoor Aquatic Centre’s 25m pool and the Equestrian Centre as well as the Nicklaus-design 18-hole golf course and clubhouse.”

The occupation date for apartments at 104 on Creek is set for the first quarter of 2020.
