The new Quarters Hermanus Hotel is looking for investors to buy its 18 luxury sectional title suites.

Signature Life Hotels, which operates the Quarters brand on behalf of the Mainguard family, will maintain the apartments, which will be part of the hotel rental pool. Owners may use the apartments for 30 days a year and for the rest of the year they will be let to guests, says Glyn Taylor of Signature Life Hotels.

There are nine suites priced from R1.35m and nine presidential suites priced from R2.813m. Potential investors can visit Quarters Hermanus which opened to the public on October 15.

The hotel is next to the town’s new market square, overlooking the old harbour. Taylor says the hotel design includes large windows and stacked sliding doors allowing in abundant natural light. Interior designer Carol Cornwall has used clean, square-line mahogany furniture with stainless steel accents, as well as stone and natural fabrics like silk, velvets and linens. Bedroom cupboards are finished in high gloss pearl grey and engineered stone has been used for vanities in the open-plan bathrooms with travertine wall and floor tiles.

Facilities include a swimming pool and a restaurant.
