A small apartment building in London Road, Sea Point is for sale through Pam Golding Properties at R10.5 million.
Whitehall consists of eight two-bedroom and four one-bedroom units, says PGP’s area manager for the Atlantic Seaboard and City Bowl, Basil Moraitis.
“The building is an older, solidly built block, and would be ideal to sectionalise and sell off or to retain as an investment,” he says. “It is well positioned for holiday flats, being just a few blocks from the beachfront and within easy reach of the V&A Waterfront and other amenities such as shops and restaurants.”
PGP’s MD for the Western Cape metro region, Laurie Wener, says the Sea Point and Green Point areas are enjoying a new lease on life, thanks to the stadium development.
“As the stadium nears completion, you can see a new, smarter environment beginning to emerge around it,” says Wener. “This is spilling over into the neighbouring areas, including Sea Point, bringing new, trendier shops into the area. This smartening-up trend had already begun with the chic Piazza St John development several years ago, and is now rapidly approaching fruition.”
