More than R2.5 billion worth of units have been sold at the V & A Marina since 2000, says Emelia van der Linde of Seeff Properties, who sold the R110 million One and Only Penthouse.

“There are 517 apartments at the Marina and 27 sales took place last year, providing a good indication of the stability of the development, even during the protracted property slump,” says van der Linde.

“The highest price paid for a residential V&A Marina penthouse this year was R95 923/m2. Prices for average two bedroom units for sale on the front yacht basin start from R16,5 million, or R81 683/m2 and average three bedroom units on the front yacht basin are priced from R22 million or R86 274/m2,” she says.

Seeff Properties is marketing the 833 m2 Pinmore penthouse on the front yacht basin at R78 million or R93 637/m2.

Pinmore contains five apartments, excluding the split level penthouse, which has its own private lift, two lounges, uninterrupted views of Table Mountain and the front yacht basin, a wraparound terrace, a swimming pool, a large entertainment area, under floor heating and air conditioning.
