Century Gate, on the stretch of land along Bosmansdam Road in Milnerton, was developed by Swanvest (Pty) Ltd in 2006, and is fast growing to be attractive to prestigious businesses such as Porsche, OTC Pharma, Daikin Airconditioning and its most recent additions, BMW and Softline (Pty) Ltd.

Gorrie and Findlay is setting up the groundwork to begin Softline’s new R 54 million office block at Century Gate.

At the same time, Porsche is getting ready to move into its new R85 million premises in Century City, where it will no longer be a tenant of Swanvest, but will own its building. This leaves a gap on this stretch for a newcomer to replace Porsche as a tenant of Century Gate.

“The Porsche premises in Century Gate will become available in January 2011,” says Pia Gorrie of Gorrie and Findlay.

“The showrooms, offices and distribution units were specifically created by GRT Designs to cater for Porsche’s expectations and needs. Swanvest created a functional and pleasant working environment from which Porsche has operated over the past three and a half years.

“These premises will now be available to the motor industry, as well as other industries, looking for a showroom with office and distribution facilities.”

The 2930 m² premises are designed with reception, office, kitchen and access points at every 500m² portal, facilitating division into smaller areas if necessary.
